Do you remember in last week’s post that I wrote about the “super moon?” Well, the night sky was clear, I was up, and I got out my tripod and camera and joined the thousands of others out taking photos in the dark.
Beautiful isn’t it? And, THAT is what gives the oceans their tides…. amazing.

Last week, I went on a field trip with my daughter-in-law and grandchildren to the local aquarium. We had to wait for our whole group to arrive, and the natives were getting a little restless. I was walking around with the older two, taking photos, when Big Brother, aged 5, asked if he could use my camera. And, this is what happened:
A friend jokingly asked how he managed to take that self-portrait, as I had written that he had taken “all” the photos. But, no, he didn’t take the pic of himself! Here’s an article from DPS on how to get kids started with your camera. You could read it, or you could just hand it over and see what happens.
