Friday Features: July 27th Edition

Happy Friday to all of you!  Can you believe that this is the last Friday in July?  Next month will be August.  Where does the time go???

We have had a steady stream of visitors for the past week and a half, this weekend will be a lull, and then my dear daughter and her two sweet girls will arrive for an extended visit.  I hope to maintain my blogging schedule, but if you don’t hear from me, I am probably awash in Winnie the Pooh, coloring books, and possibly glitter.

This weekend, over at my Scrap Takeout store, I have a few items in the Snack Bar for only $1 each:

American Story: Word Art

And, in some exciting news, I have had some truly wonderful responses to my CT call.  I’ll be introducing them to you over the next few weeks.  Ann has been working with me for a few months now, and she just finished this layout, using my Fruit of the Spirit Overlays:

Now for your Friday Features:

Here’s a great article from the Daily Digi on How to Work the Shot.

I use Lightroom for all my photographs now, and I really like Matt Kloskowski’s presets.  He had a great post this past week about adding a sunflare effect.

Here’s a quick tutorial from Designer Digitals on how to give your photos a sepia tone, in either PS or PSE.

My DD and her Littles are coming next week, and I think this would be a great project to do with her while she’s here: Little mini resin portraits.

Joy is not necessarily the absence of suffering, it is the presence of God.
